Makes me wonder if be tried 100% last 2 years but especially last year. All I heard was bad teamate yet I’m seeing completely opposite this year. He is so smart on court knows how to keep players settled down yet amped up (play hard but in control). I have changed my mind on him when trade was announced I hated it. Yet he is the perfect player for this team at this time. No way can Presti break this up umless we go on a big losing streak in the next month.
This season came out of nowhere. I knew CP had talent but I expected low effort from CP and a bunch of trades in a tank year. And now I am digging this team. SGA, wow I had no idea he was this good didn’t see his games last year.
Sorry for the thread hijack the past few days but ai had this game circled for a long time.
Oh, and I love those City uniforms.
Someone needs to show that video to Doncic and Carlisle. Doncic is tough as nails but he’s got to cut down on the constant complaining and just play. Wouldn’t hurt if he toughened up on defense and dished out a little punishment himself tbh. If he takes it he’s got to give it.

People don’t realize how tough Jordan was he got beat up a lot back then. The rules favored defenders too, and he took a constant beating. He will always be the best ever in my book.

Quoting this because this is amazing and deserves to be recognized.
Jazz have quietly won 8 in a row even without Mike Conley. The top 5 teams in the west really separating themselves.
Harden is going for the record again. 11 tov in the 1st half (already a record). All time record is 14 (Jason Kidd).
For all the trade talk fans. RoCo had 6 steals and 1 block in the same half.

RoCo has bounced back defensively from a tough beginning to the year. He's the best non-All-Star perimeter defender in the game. He's probably not a top-30 player given his inability to create his own shot, but I would count him as the sole exception to my "Don't trade more than one of Maxi-Wright-DFS-Curry unless it's for a top 30 player" rule.
So the Spurs take out the Raptors in Toronto tonight. Seems like they are improving right along. With teams nipping at our heels, all Mavs games are must win games now, as the good doctor would say!

The race for 8th (seed) is flat out crazy. There are 7 teams fighting for 8th and the only team out of any seed chance is GS. And OKC in 7th is not a lock depending on what they do roster wise.
18-22 Mem current 8 seed
17-21 SAS
16-23 Suns
16-24 Port
15-23 Wolves
15-24 Kings
14-26 Pels
Zion coming back. Iggy? This is a lot of teams looking at that 8 seed.
Also, I wonder what the value difference is between 8 and 9 seed. 9 seed is drafting mid pack. 8 seed just a notch lower however - what os the value of getting at least 2 home playoff games? Money wise its revenue for the team. Good for fans. Money could help team to go more onto tax the next year?
I think making playoffs is better than not. Its playoff experience for those who never been. Great for fans and city. Just don’t see any down sides.
