First I thought this was a Thunder link, but then I clicked on it and it was dead. Definitely Mavs. Big Grin
Damn, Delonte. Sad

I hope the Mavs have an outreach program.

The internet is a strange place. Manufactured drama and angst. The Lakers are top 2 team. Why would LeBron need an excuse? What narrative is he trying to control?

Or we could rephrase the question.  Why would he blame a broken routine for his bad game play?

Who cares? He's an MVP candidate and is leading a top 2 team in the NBA. I'd rather the Lakers be bad, but they're not. It's basketball, of course he'll have sub par games. Everyone does.

Delusional? Or is he just always marketing?
I haven’t seen the stat presented this way before (multi players).  Anyone know if there is an average for team (how many players on avg score more points than total shot attempts.  Trying to know if this is meaningful or not

Yes and yes

Agree.  I just don’t see them blaming routine is all.  I found it observant

The Skip Bayless of dads.
Amazing what CP is doing out from under Harden wing.  He is able to be a true PG now and is having fun.  I was 100% wrong on him coming in as a disgruntled troublemaker who would hurt locker room.  I could not have been more wrong.

These stats don’t include his clutch stats which are tops in NBA:

Zion with twice as many threes in his debut than Ben Simmons has in his career.
Sacramento and Minny are slowly calling it a season after yet another loss against out of playoff east teams. Unless something drastic changes, they should be sellers at TDL. What's the point of keeping (and paying) Bogdanovic if this team is far from playoff picture. Not saying it is Bogi fault. Similar goes for Minny.

Dallas has very meh assets but can offer what no other contender can - take bad salaries (which are actually in a form of usefull players for Dallas - Dieng or Dedmon). The only question is, how much Minny and Sac value cap space.

Sacramento: getting rid of Dedmon would give them some 30 million of cap space on 9 contracts. The real question here is - can they get someone better than Bogi in free agency? They are not really a dream come true free agent destination. Wouldn't it make more sense to just extend Bogi and try to get anything that fits better than Dedmon? I tend to say answer to those questions would be yes. I would give up Bogi, if I receive picks or good young players. Their roster is well rounded, the problem is just that the players are not really that good. They have plenty of back-up point guards, so Wright is not really interesting for them, unless the deal includes Jospeh horrible contract. I guess someone like Philadelphia might make more appealing offer for Sacramento: Smith+Bolden and a first round pick. They can raise the offer with Thybulle. Dallas offer perhaps: Lee+DFS+GSW2nd for Bogi+Dedmon. I don't think we can win this one - lower ceiling guy, worse pick. They are not taking JJ back and Brunson is just another back up point guard for them - not many minutes available behind Fox.

Minnesota: it all comes down to how much they would like to have cap space in 2020. They need to start making win now moves or KAT will demand a trade sooner or later. So, experienced role players might be appealing for them, as contribution from non KAT/Wiggins players is low. On the other hand those two don't play defense. Covington is a perfect role player for them. To be honest, he is a perfect role player for any team. We can give them good role players, plenty of options: Wright, Curry, Brunson, JJ can all contribute and we wouldn't really miss them that much in any kind of combination. Dieng is irelevant in any Russel trade, as I don't believe Dubs will take that contract. He is decent player but you don't waste 16 mil for a KAT back-up that will play less than 20 minutes per game. Comparing this to Philadelphia example, I would prefer Dallas options, if I am Minny. Philly option takes too much time for Minny - they need to start improving starting next season.

New Orleans is playing Denver, Boston, Cleveland, Memphis, Houston and Milwaukee until February 4th. Tough stretch with only one easy game. Losing more than half of these games might be enough for them to admit playoff is not realistic this season - sell vets for more assets.
