One could argue that Chris Paul is just being Chris Paul. HoF point guard was in a tough situation in HOU.

Put me in the group that thinks there is a zero percent chance Sam Presti blows up a playoff team.

The Thunder fans I know are really taking a shine to the team. HoF point, beloved center, young star, modern scoring pf, some overlooked bench pieces.
Add in last night 24p on 9-19fg.  He has been stellar

On CP, I meant his attitude in what he is saying/doing.  Also, seems we pace his minutes better than what Rox did but I have to check thats a guess

Your team is looking good. During the summer I was asking we try to pick up Schroder and Adams... everyone was so against the idea of getting Shroder but some were on board for Adams... now both are playing great, and I am kind of like... I told you so! hahaha

idk, man. As a Mavs fan I had hoped we could get them. For you as a Thunder fan they are the two players I would keep outside of SGA, so I would hope they hang on to them for your sake.

Next year with your picks you guys could be in prime position to add another piece.

I will add... as time goes on, I am less wanting us to make too many moves. Our chemistry is strong.

I would still move Lee, Justin Jackson for another piece.
A little separation is now created in the West standings as OKC has 2,5 and Portland has 1,5 wins advantage over Sacramento on the 9th spot. Minnesota sinked far below and it looks like the hot start was only an exception. It is becoming very clear that this team is not good enough to even get to the playoffs, let alone something more. They should make some decisive moves or KAT will be the next star demanding a trade.

Phoenix also lost momentum and is sinking, while San Antonio remains below expectations and out of playoffs.

Just saying, KAT next to KP would be the perfect combo.

Twin Towers 2.0 that are both so versatile on offense that they'd be unstoppable. Add on KP's elite defense and you have a size combo that couldn't be matched.

And thats not even mentioning Luka who already can't be matched.

So while its way way way way way wayyyy too early, and you didn't even mention it. Perhaps the Mavs can be opportunistic here should Minny blow it up and offer the farm for KAT. Obviously they'd likely be outbid. But hey I never thought they'd ever have a chance for Porzingis.

This is one of the reasons behind better players are just better. If you upgrade 2 players into 1 that is singularly better than either of the 2, the difference can be made up much easier than getting that 1 player. The more trades you can make like that, hopefully you can get to the point where KAT isn't such a long shot proposition. Either that or your team works so well that KAT isn't even a consideration.
Good, hope we win and can help Mavs in standings too.  We are on a 5 game homestand (game 4) and before long sched gets harder.  We will never get higher than 7 but if we take out Clippers it helps Mavs, and us.

Curious if PG gets booed.  He never got us the picks plus SGA that was Sam.  But he did stay a year longer than I thought.  I hope we don’t boo him that reserved for 1 player.

My goodness this team has no quit.  Were down 19 in first half and then 10 in 4th now lead 114-106 with 34 clicks left

Wow, amazing win took down Clippers to get over 500 first time all year!  15-14

Adams:  20p on 10-15, 17reb, 2ast and 3 steals!

SGA another 32 point game.  I never saw this coming, a winning record after 29 games.  Winning games we have no business winning

I keep saying, this is a dangerous team. There's no way Presti blows them up. He's more likely to add reinforcements. Nice takedown.
why couldn't have Kawhi load managed against the Mavs... Dodgy

At some point the load managing will catch up in standings.
Five big games on Christmas day!  Who will be watching?  Up first is Boston/Toronto.  For whoever told me after the last Mavs/Boston game that the Celts weren't in the running to take the East, I'll take the Celts in this game in Toronto.

Should be required reading (ok, viewing) for all proposers of trades and anyone who writes the words “fill in the blank player does/doesn’t fit our system”

Yeah, fun watch. We're given more tools to understand the game as a fan than ever.
