Hollinger built a spreadsheet that highly weights point differential that tells him what position each player plays

He actually answered my question regarding this on that forum and the reason is that Ingram is season 4 while Doncic only season 2.

He just doesn't want to admit that his spreadsheet told him  Tongue

Yeah. This Denver line-up might be weirdest ever. 5 PF and C starting with Milsap being shortest on the floor. Opponent was also the depleted Washington. My first impression is that teams will be taking it extremely slow and consider those 8 seeding games as friendly scrimmages.

I hope you're right, that most teams treat them like scrimmages, because the Mavs need to pile up some wins! Gotta miss those Clips.

Here's the team not to sleep on folks:

Lead by an MVP candidate at PG
The Robin played like a Batman in the last few weeks before the league shut down
3rd and 4t best players can both handle the ball and hit 3's at above 44%
The role players are anchored by two of the NBA's top 10 3&D players
PG position is backed up by a veteran pnr savant NBA champ
Coached by an NBA champion coach

I saw your question there, well done.   He had to add information to defend his position.  To his credit he did say this about Doncic.

"The candidate not getting enough attention here is Doncic, who, as I noted earlier this year, has done a lot of work to tighten his handle, improve his left hand and upgrade his explosiveness around the rim. He was already an outstanding player, but now he’s laid the foundation to be a top-five player in the league for the next decade."

Thanks. Still, I am not convinced about Ingram. His usage increased so his stats increased, logically. His efficiency didn't see a drastic jump. Plus his team wasn't really good as long as he was sort of number 1. His stats are also higher in team losses than team wins. Doncic is the other way around. While I can take the argument about Doncic being only year two, I am definitely putting Wood or Graham before Ingram. Siakam also made much bigger jump than Ingram and became legitimate number one on a team who just lost MVP player for nothing and remained a contender.
909 days since he last played.  I thought he was done fer.  Adds defense for sure

Sounds about right.
Suspend him until round 2. They won't make it to round 2 though. Hehe
What a selfish POS. Bad enough these sports leagues take capacities from the true heroes of this crisis and he has the audacity to cite a family emergency to go to a strip club. That´s a slap in the face of all the doctors and nurses that risk their life every day.

The NBA wanks itself to death about black lives matter/social wokeness, but they have no problem to fast-track a 1000 tests, while regular people with symptoms wait in line for 12-16 hours to get a result in 7-14 days. No wonder this is out of control. To prioritize testing healthy people over people with symptoms is scandalous, if we are being honest.

I bet they don´t even have the balls to suspend him for the rest of the season, cause he´s an important piece in their business plan: Los Angeles conference finals.

CP3 busted him.  Seriously though, that is a dumb move by Lou.  The woke NBA name on the back of his jersey should read "Liar".
My 2 cents is to not let him back in the bubble, since he obviously is not serious about avoiding unnecessary contact and possibly contamination of everyone who is trying to act responsibly.

If Doc was a tough as he claims, he'd tell him to just go home.

After reading a bit more about this case, I think it is overblown. The place is actually (also) a good restaurant and guys were there for dinner. Williams mentioned in interviews before that this place is his favorite restaurant. He also didn't lie, as he really left for personal reasons, attending a funeral, which he also published a day before "the incident".

His buddy lied and said the picture of he and Williams was from a year ago.  Williams then had to admit to NBA officials that it actually was on the recent trip.  The NBA mask gives it away.

Why lie to the NBA if it was a perfectly normal thing to do?

The NBA considers that situation to be of higher risk, (their rules not mine) so they can assess how long the quarantine should last.  Lou needed to be honest with them.
