Also, Spurs don't seem scary at all.

Lebron's last 3 games minute totals were  42, 37, and 35. 38mpg is a lot for anyone, especially for 35 year old Lebron.

If Lebron is needed to play that kind of minutes to win these early games, I think fatigue is going to be the Lakers biggest threat near the end of the season.

Wish we could have drafted Goga. Could have been our own version of the Twin Towers. Played the last three games in the absence of Turner/Sabonis averaging 25 MPG, 8.3 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 4.0 BPG, 2.3 APG, +/- +33.

Also seems the Thunder might not suck. CP3 is seemingly invested (maybe only to increase his trade value), SGA is stepping up to the plate with 22/7/3 and the rookie Bazley is shooting 47/45/83 so far giving their bench an unexpected lift.

These young kids like Ayton and Collins clearly are out of touch with the old man. He could teach them how to plan a successful Miami vacation. Big Grin

Spurs were terrible yesterday. Couldn't buy a bucket - they shot 24 % for three. Aldrige is looking old and inefficient on both ends of the floor. Hate to admit it, but Young is excellent this year. And his confidence is growing with every game.

I think they have a nice team - was discussing this even back at the old forum. If they don't decide to blow it up, they could be competing for play-offs even in this tough west and they will certainly have to be taken seriously on any given night. They have a very nice combo of experienced starters and young guys. SGA is developing into a franchise player, Ferguson, Diallo provide good role playing minutes.

I really don't see why they would have to blow it up. They already have a gazillion of picks. They have large contracts with usable players. One would think they are positioned perfectly to make a trade if a disgruntled star wants out of any team.

Yeah, too bad for Chicago.  So LeBron has 3 triple doubles in a row, I know a 20 year old kid that will try to match that tonight.

Davis or LeBron or both will get injured for a significant stretch this year.  I bet they don't have the best record but will be a force in the playoffs assuming health at that time.  I think the Clippers will end up regular season champs.

Wow, I can't believe we're not on here any longer!

Not surprisingly, there's two ex-Mavs on that list from last year. lol

Go ahead and schedule him and PG to rest on our gamedays!!!
League spokesman Mike Bass said in a statement (via Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN):

"Kawhi Leonard is not a healthy player under the league's resting policy, and, as such, is listed as managing a knee injury in the LA Clippers injury report. The league office, in consultation with the NBA's director of sports medicine is comfortable with the team medical staff's determination that Leonard is not sufficiently healthy to play in back-to-back games at this time."
I would say most (not me) wanted Patrick Beverley to start here. So far he's shooting 33% from the field and 13% from 3. Given the contract and his age, how do y'all feel about that now?

Giving those minutes to Brunson appears to be the much wiser choice.
What would it take for them to get rid of back-to-backs altogether? Seems they're more trouble than they're worth and costing the league money due to players being sat. Is that not enough to make a change? Longer season? Constant 1 game between throughout the year (did some rough math, roughly 185 playable days in reg season / 82 games is 2.25 days between games or every 4th game is a 3 day rest)? Make the Allstar game after the finals to get those extra days of play in?
G-State Warriors are giving the rockets fits it seems.

That was a hour ago. It's 117-97, Houston with 5 mins left.
Harden takes twice as many FTs per game compared to any other guard in the league. He doubles all players except for Giannis and AD. That´s just stupid.
Speaking of James Harden, a reddit user did a statistical analysis on James Harden's performances vs. average strip club rating of the city.

The results were amazing.

We need the Clippers to lose since we'll be battling them for playoff seeding. ;-)
Fined for not going along with the agreed upon lie.  China does not approve.
Suns losing at home to the cHeat by almost 20 at the moment.

Blazer and Clippers to early.
