Wemby.

Do Wemby/Sengun work together?  Just curious on folks thoughts, feels like it may be situation where they would shop Sengun to get another high pick in the draft if they landed Wemby.

Houston is so bad it doesn't matter.  And I'd almost never advocate for a player 7' or taller but Wemby has all the tools.  I think you just draft him and work out everything else later.
Wood will miss....

My name is Volodoymyr Zelensky. I offer you the opportunity to enter the history books. I needs some German tanks to end a war.

The fact that they're re-evaluating him in only a week gives me hope it may not be incredibly serious.

Well, it's on his non shooting hand, so there's a little hope, I guess.

Sabonis missed one game breaking his non shooting thumb. I don’t think we’re going to wait long for him to be back, he played with it towards the end of the game last night.

Yeah.  It looked to me like he hurt it on a play where he was fouled (not called).  Then later he aggravated it on a dunk.  Hope he didn't make it worse on that play.
This guy will walk kn FA. Book it.

The Cuban special. At least he won’t have to pay the luxury tax.
With all these injuries that linger-linger-linger, and the baffling distracted play, I am hearing a faint whisper that sounds like it's saying: "clank, clank, I'm a tank."
Can't even do that right...

It's not going to happen. They're going to give everything they have to make the playoffs, even if it definitively becomes the wrong move, which I don't think is clear yet. But if/when it is clear, Cuban and the team will be the very last ones to realize it.

If they miss the playoffs it will because they're just that bad. But, with so many other teams struggling just as much with consistency this year, I'm having a hard time imagining that happening.

The worst D in the league gives up 118 per 100.  Bobby K often quotes that Dallas is now 24-9 (I believe) when they give up fewer than 118 per and 2-15 when they give up more.  As much O as we have, what this is saying is if we are just better than the worst D in the league, we are a 60 win team.  Not top 5, not top half of the league.  Just not horrible.

I don’t think it is that simple, but Maxi and a little more D from somewhere would get us there.  The Key is getting that additional D without giving up too much O.  To me, that is the move they should be looking for.

I think they need to add D while keeping same level of offensive capability. This team is offensively very limited and hangs on a single player playing at MVP level. I don't think Mavs have any reserves in that department.
