Not in the sense I meant it, which is only pertaining to this particular situation, not all of life in general, ha ha. I don't think my statement (the extremely slim chance of the Mavs retaining Wood if he's any good this year) is bold or daring in the slightest given what we have seen in the past. It's a very safe bet, tragically.

I think it’s smart as long as he doesn’t get traditionally starter minutes. In my mind, he replaces Powell’s role in the playoffs (more minutes in the regular season). I hope Wood shows what Kidd is looking for and cracks the starting lineup, I do wonder which spot he takes, the C or PF, but that’s the least of my worries.

Makes me wonder if he's paying attention since that comment was made a few months back in a public interview.
If he truly didn't know because he wasn't paying attention, then that's a concern right there.
