With Kyrie, it depends on which side of the bed he wakes up from. I'll just wait until the end of the season to see. I just don't see how some of these players value getting paid large swabs of money, over being in a situation to compete for a title, which isn't going to happen here overnight.

Opens season for Luka. Even during the 2011 run the Mavs didn´t have as much media coverage. Once in a lifetime opportunity for THJ Sr to get some attention.

Sr. isn't wrong and if it motivates the Mavs to ditch Jr., even bitter.

And he's comfortable in saying it knowing Jr. is in the best stretch of his Mavs career (maybe ever?). I said at the deadline there is no way his value could get any higher. I was flat wrong.

I had hopes that Cuban had decided to stop being the Defacto GM who micromanages everything, when Nico came in. (Not that I felt Nico had the GM-skills expertise to do the job, unfortunately.) But here we still are.
