This is fair....BUT in those games it was revealed he doesn't really have NBA level athleticism and that his feel for the game is NOT good and he is a terrible defender on and off ball. The kid can shoot, his free throws and catch and shoot make that clear. But I don't see anything else to like.

Poole is my comp.  Irrationally confident shooter, solid handles, would be miscast as a PG, traffic cone defense, big upside.  

He is coming into a fantastic culture like Poole did, though obviously not nearly as proven.

Hardy refused to do the NBA combine measurements....he is probably 6'3" w/o shoes and I have seen 6'9" wingspan. And I doubt he would test well athletically. 

The only thing that makes me ok with this is that the Mavs DID bring him in for a workout.

I could see you being right about the height.  I went with the instant Jordan Poole comp but he doesn’t have nearly the quickness Poole does and I’m guessing the testing would back that up.  

Love the shooting stroke though.  Will be interesting to watch the development of Nico’s first guy.
