Everyone's Nike endorsement contact running the Mavs?
My gut feeling is that this is bad news for people hoping "plan powder" would end, but simultaneously quite a boon to the prospect of it ever working. This is every bit as good as hiring Pelinka or Rose, maybe better. Instead of who are clients of which agents, @"DanSchwartzgan" should start reminding us who is with Nike instead of Reebok or Adidas.

No I actually like what I have just briefly read about him. Obviously I had not digested this news, when I made the Billy King comment.
At least we can be sure that he´s well connected at the highest levels of NBA basketball, even if it comes from a different (maybe fresh outside) angle. As THE Nike rep, you not only need to work with the existing superstars, but also be aware of the NEXT BIG things.
Therefore generally speaking it´s the first decision that I can 100% support, since this mess started, but we obviously have to see how much influence and decision-making power he truly has.
Also would have to understand what his thinking behind the approval of Kidd is! There are pros and cons to the appointment and the reasoning behind it would probably tell us a little more about Harrison.
Love Harrison as President. Love it.
Kidd for HC is interesting...neutral right now, I think.
If they announce Finley or (much worse) Voulgaris as GM I'm going to be pretty upset.

Im kind of coming to terms that all these people will be seen as equal to Cuban who will be the end decision maker anyways.

1 billion dollar mistake doesn't discount the fact that Woj has said he has several connections right now and is generally thought of to have many good relationships to players.

True, but it does take some of the shine off of the mood I had 5 minutes ago. I'm not reversing, just sucks that I'm not able to feel truly happy about this one thing.

If the biggest problem this guy has is that he botched a couple of names in a 2013 presentation, we are in good hands. At least he has heard of PPTX and didn´t pitch Stephon a cartoon.

Jason Kidd was the reason I became a Mavs fan. What a strange road it has been. 3 J's, Toni Braxton, Most definitely, Perot, Zachanelli, trade to phx, years couldn't even watch him play for another team, then returning and helping us win a championship. Now as head coach. May not work out, but we will see.
Watching his highlights brings back a lot of memories growing up for me.

I’m not writing off that maybe a lot if KP’s poor performance was related to relationships with RC and probably Luka, and a coach that is known for building good relationships with players, like Kidd, may be able to fix some of that.
