He was doing okay in Portland, no?  And then got injured?

Just unfortunate when you need to be the primary ball handler to develop and your team drafts one of the best point guards of all time and then you get sent to the shithole that is the Knicks.

I guess, if you consider doing ok as needing to have a private workout to try to get a roster spot somewhere in the league.
EJ Liddell hurt his knee tonight.  I didn’t see it but hopefully it is not bad.  Sucks to get injured in summer league.
I'm personally shocked that Eason didn't go top 10:

Liddell situation is very sad. Hoping that he can bounce back quickly.
Rockets are building a monster.

The fact that the Spurs were one of the first front offices to call about KP makes me think your statement is false.

Further, I remember at the time of the deal everyone making fun of the Knicks, calling it a fleece. Every pundit, fan, and even the anonymous GM's were saying "The Knicks didn't take calls on KP and traded him for THAT?"

It didn't work out. It's unfortunate. But you still do that deal 10 times out of 10.
Matt Ryan with a sprain and a prayer 3.  Havent seen anything like it. He has been shooting lights out
Forgot how ugly Summer League is.  Good gosh this is just atrocious basketball.
