Wis we could land Morris. Give them one of our PGs and the GSW 2nd and something else.

If I were the Knicks I'd give up Mitchell Robinson for D'Ro. As good as Robinson is, that position is much easier to replace than a guy like D'Ro who is an all-star in the East. A D'Ro, Barrett core is a pretty good place to start. They can probably just sell-off whatever they can this year and start fresh this summer with picks and cap space to build around those 2. It's not a hopeless situation.

Too many other teams who want him and can also outbid us badly.

Not saying I would do this but Knicks could easily replace Robinson with a maxed out Drummond and be pretty good next year.

I am wondering how exactly salaries would go because GSW wouldn't want to take back a lot of salary if they can help it. Makes me think the Knicks would add teams to take on some players. There are a couple of teams that would take DSJ's deal for free.

I am actually not sure how they'd make the math work.

Just imagine if the Mavs brass had been smart enough to sign D'Ro. They would be the ones in the middle of a bidding war...

IKR. Last offseason was saved from 2011 and 2012 status by the bargain contracts we gave DFS, Maxi, Wright, and Curry. It will get worse in terms of final grade if we fail to use the TPE.

I guess but this is a franchise that used a 1st round pick to give away TJ Warren so you definitely try to see what you can do.

Kleber is on a great contract so no I wouldn't do that deal.

Speaking of that, that's what we should be looking to use Lee for.  I'd take back a bad contract that runs through next year for a pick.
