If Boston is looking at Capella that mist mean Adams is off the table

If Capella's injury is more serious, I doubt Boston would pull the trigger.
I wouldn't mind kicking the tires on Randle. Probably because he, like Heild, tends to feast when he plays us.
Man, those Knicks are sure entertaining.  I hope DSJ ends up in a good home.

So in these situations where you have to add a lot of bodies together to make the salaries match it means you need to offload some bodies to an additional team or two. But then to do so you need to either a) include players teams want or b) add more picks to make it all work.

I wouldn't mind Mavs being a "dump" team (as they were seen last summer) provided they are getting a first round pick out of the deal.

Celtics would prob need to give up 2 picks to get Capela (Grizz would be the valuable one they own). Would they give up a third to find a dump team (aka Mavs?). Mavs could take Theis for example for the Bucks 2020 pick which will be a very low pick obviously. 3 picks sounds like a lot, but 2 of them won't be very good and Capela is better than anything they'd get in the draft considering Memphis is no longer a lottery team.

If Mavs could do *something* like that (which for some reason they have been hesitant to do in the past) they could have 3 picks to trade come this summer. 2 first round picks + GSW + a some young guys they could flip for something better.
Ainge and Morey, my least favorite GM's.  Well, unless you count LeBron.

Cannot take those trade talks seriously. Rockets are lunatic. Just like the T´Wolves.
Rox are where OKC was last year.  Tapped out and in lux tax and no way to get over the top.

Presti has made some misteps in his tenure but he has made great moves as well.    What we fans don’t know is what owners tell him which can lead to moves we don’t agree with.  Rox seems to be saying get salary down due to tax and thats a tall ask.

Presti navigated the past year perfectly:

People are getting really confused with the amount of picks the Thunder have.
A lot of them are pick swaps so not actually additional picks.
Plus they may have a worse record then the Clippers of Houston and not actually be able to swap picks.
they have 6 definite picks from other teams coming, but could also lose 2 of their picks.
Plus 2 pick swap options with Clippers and Houston each

Very true.  They are good assets to build thru trade but some will not convey or may be low or turn into 2nd rounders.  Still a big haul and will be useful in trades as a chip to sweeten a pot.

For sure he is getting traded.  Just a matter of who.  Grizz are in a bind since teams know he will sit leaving them less wiggle room

I feel like it's getting more and more likely he gets bought out unless he expands his list of preferred teams
Mavs are still in great position for Iggy, since other teams cant make proper offers without a Lee type contract.

Because i dont think the Clippers want to part with Harkless in favor of Iggy. Lakers no contracts to match.

Only thing possible is some 3 way trades. If his list only consist of Lakers and Clippers than f*** him of course.

Good news. Mavs not involved in any Randle talk.

This is kind of a bitch move. Why would Memphis care whether or not a team is on his list? They only care about making a trade. My thought is that his agent is spreading word that Iggy will only play for a handful of teams and depressing the trade market  I didn't think he'd be so sorry that he wouldn't play for the Mavs like many posters think, but this news makes me doubt that now.

The NBA is out of control if NBA players with guaranteed contracts can decide to just sit because they don't like the team. I would hope the team could stop sending him checks at least. This news dampers my enthusiasm on Iggy.
