He's restricted so he can't really call his own shots
Just realized that Jamaal Crawford is still out there... That might solve a few problems.
There's a good chance it would take DFS (or even more?) to get RoCo at which case it would be a tough call. You'd really like to add RoCo without having to give up a guy like DFS. If push came to shove I think I would move DFS for RoCo in that I believe RoCo is a significant upgrade both defensively and offensively. RoCo has more potential to be a third option many times, some nights scoring 20+ points. His 3% is lower this year but I would expect that to go up in Dallas.

His contract is also really good (albeit not as cheap as DFS). I could see the appeal the Wolves would have in getting a younger, cheaper player in DFS who is a very comparable player. If I could get Covington for DFS + filler I would probably do it.

Bogdanovich can force a deal if he really wants to play hardball.

I guess but it's harder to do as an RFA. KP was able to force his way out with the Knicks but they also thought that a KP trade was their ticket to KD + Kyrie at the time. I think Bog got put in the starting lineup recently so there'd be less reason for him to be disgruntled. I would be surprised if he got moved.

His emotions are high given Kobe passing, his pre-game tribute to Kobe and then blowing that lead.  That said, it's a matter of if and not when that situation blows up.  I'm not sure he'll be first in line of the next stars to demand a trade, but it wouldn't surprise me either.

Wolves should probably tank, but they are only 7 games back from the 8th spot in the West so...

The love affair between Andre Drummond and Detroit might be coming to an end

The love affair between Andre Drummond and Detroit might be coming to an end

In case anyone is wondering, there is a way to include WCS in a deal for Drummond.  The benefit being to give Detroit someone who can fill the slot for the rest of the season.

The key is to not aggregate Cauley-Stein with anyone else.  Detroit has a $2.5mm TPE that WCS’s $2.1mm salary would fit into.  Galloway and Rose both fit into the newly reduced Dallas TPE.  Such a deal might essentially be Rose/Drummond or Galloway/Drummond for Wright/WCS.  But, it would actually be a series of deals:

1. Wright + Lee for Drummond, then
2. WCS for a highly protected 2044 2nd (using the Detroit TPE), then
3. Rose (or Galloway) for a highly protected 2045 2nd (using the remaining Dallas TPE).

Would rather have Willie than Drummond.

Quote:Sacramento doesn’t need to trade Bogdanovic, and it has declined some offers already. The Kings offered Nemanja Bjelica and a pick to the Lakers for Kyle Kuzma, and Los Angeles countered by asking for Bogdanovic, according to multiple league sources. Sacramento refused. But Bogdanovic will be a restricted free agent this summer and any offer sheet in the $15 to $25 million range annually would be problematic for the Kings to match. Hield and Harrison Barnes just got paid, and De’Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley III are due new contracts in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Unless the Kings decide it’s in their best interest to commit roughly $75 million to Fox, Hield, and Bogdanovic starting in 2021, then trading one of Hield or Bogdanovic for a larger wing or a big man makes sense.

That last part is bad news for the Mavs. We have plenty of guards to trade. Sounds like we'd have to give Maxi to bring back Bog.
On the cap I read some humor.  Rumor is that Morey cost NBA over $200m so they are drugging Harden to keep them from winning lol.  Even Hardens best fans are starting to turn on him.

He has been awful the past 10 games.  Then this stat:

Which more or less makes it a certainty he will score something in the range of 50 tomorrow Smile Let's hope others will suck
^^^

I see your point but he is in a super slump.  It almost seems he is not trying thats what his fans say it looks like.  I think its his injury nagging

Spoiler: Kennard is available for trade...
Pistons really are trying to fire sale everyone off. Kennard is a good shooter. No defense, but can still get buckets.

But him alone isn't enticing. I doubt many teams are angling for a trade of Kennard.
