We missed our chance to trade for Tacko, Bol Bol, and try and bring back Yao Ming for the all 5 no 3 lineup.

Game plan would be to just hold the ball as high as you can over your head and pass the ball off. Clips will be too short to even attempt to get the ball. Just give it to 1 guy that's cherry picking and 50% of the time it works every time.
Shame. If we actually had any balls and implemented that strategy I'd say Mavs in 4. Donnie is useless!!!!

LAC did tank to play us. Some think to also avoid the Lakers 2nd rd too. Several media members saying this. Guys on The Ringer pod talked all about it. Honestly, our only hope for this series is to use that as motivation. Rick should have our guys playing hard all series. Should be a good test

What was really the headline-grabbing line in that article is the astonishing claim by Doe that the Mavs tanked to play the Clippers.
If that is true, I have to seriously question that strategy. But I'm calling BS on it, anyway, lol.

Yeah, I'm guessing the front office is less than thrilled with one of their players saying the team tanked. I usually think tanking before the playoffs implies a scared team, rather than a confident one.
But since it's obviously not true anyway, I'm cool with the big talk, would really like to see them back it up on the court though!
Doe-doe might be a really key player in this matchup. Hopefully, JB will also be. I have some concerns about how well Jalen will be able to deal with the the Clippers' larger, stronger players. If he turns out to be important in the series, I think that means things are going well in that respect.
I am really looking forward to home Mavs games with a near full crowd. That will be cool.
I am actually fine with the Clippers...although I reserve to change my opinion if we are a quick exit. For me, this series is a clear report card on the front office roster build.
