That does it, we need a non rotation player to put a hit on Morris.  He deserves it from the stepping on Luka's ankle last year to this elbow in the face.  Actually, we need the hit on Kawhi but they can just reassemble the robot prior to the next game.

Wow, that is pretty bad.  The game is different these days but the Mavs have to show some force tonight, I think.  Not dirty like Morris, but George and Leonard can't feel no fear probing and driving in the paint.   I don't know who on the Mavs can provide some force, but I think a message needs to be sent.  Outside of Luka, the Clipps think the Mavs are soft.

Sad thing looking at the Morris hit on Maxi, it was right near the biggest lead the Mavs had and the Clippers made their run right after that.

Now that there is what we call a MASSIVE double standard. Dude didn't even attempt to make a basketball play.

Not on Morris.  On someone else.

Should have kept James Johnson.

Not true. Luka has had pain in his lower neck/upper shoulder area since the first or second quarter. I think the injury was caused by a fall after he had been tripped and almost made the shot while falling down.

What a horrible performance int game 4.
As far as this series goes in general. What were you guys that predicted Mavs in 6 and 7 believing would happen? Those picking the Clippers in any number of games, how is the series matching up to those predictions? Only people who should be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth should be those who predicted (with a straight face) Mavs in 4 or 5.

Ah yes...well, I picked the Mavs in 6...mostly because I am a Mavs homer, but I did/do believe they could/can win in 6--or 7.  Unfortunately it has never been more obvious that Luka is the engine that runs the team.  The supporting cast is not nearly as good as Luka has made them look.  Now he is injured.  Now is when a really good coach steps up--

Ah man...now I'm really discouraged...

The series is tied at 2 and 2.  Let's see what happens in the next game.
Just to remind you all: Could have been 3-0 and now 4-0 or 3-1 (depending on the Clippers' fight) if the Mavs would have kept their foot on the gas pedal in the first and second quarter of game 3 and the coach doesn't pull Luka too early.

I thought LAC would be up 3-1 at this point and that DAL would steal one more before losing the series.

The Mavs having a shooting debacle in a game like last night was 100% something on my radar.

I did NOT think the Mavs would outshoot LAC 51% to 41% from 3 in a game like game 3 and LOSE. When that happened I believed the series was immediately over for the Mavs.

I have also said that if DAL gets outshot by LAC and WINS, then I think they have a chance in the series. Don't see that happening.

I hope the Mavs dig deep and prove me wrong, but I think LAC in 6 (my prediction) will still come true.
I was the lone poster who predicted clippers in five...

After the first two games, I felt embarrassed about revealing myself. Now... not so much.

We're a good road team for whatever reason, I can see the Mavs pull off a win next game then lose the last 2. I had Clipps in 7 to begin with. I thought from the beginning if the Mavs were to win this series it would be in 6 games, if it goes to 7, I think the Clipps pull it out.

They were overly enthusiastic, to say the least. They must have forgotten the Clippers are still one of the league's best teams.

Overly enthusiastic? Did you watch the first two games? We had them on the brink of a 3-0 in game 3. We just didn't finish them. Pulling Luka too early and the wrong mentality lead to the Clippers comeback in game 3. This Clippers team is beatable. The first three games proved this.

The Mavs have to make their open shots and play better overall (especially defensively) again, of course. Is anyone here really of the opinion that the first two and a half games were a fluke?
