When I heard this in his interview it got me thinking. He didn't feel good and still did well enough to be an all-star. Now that he's heavier and feels good, can't wait to see how that translates on the court!

Yep and it also helps explain his injury to some extent.
Its soo weird on one end this maybe one of the most excited times to be a Mavs fan getting excited for this upcoming season, yet on the other hand its sad af knowing that there is no Dirk coming back

I totally agree. However, even though I was on team bench Dirk, I really didn’t like seeing him come off the bench.
I honestly don´t even care about his offense as long as he is able to hit open jumpers. I am just happy that for the first time since 2011 the Mavs will have a real impact defender starting at PF/C. Someone that intimidates opposing guards, forces them to change their shot and gets at least 2 blocks per game. No more oldman Dalembert, Chandler or DAJ. Not to mention Zaza, Kaman or Dirk playing center.
I think they said he’s going to miss 15-20 games due to load management as they work him back
Love the confidence. Same with Luka. The seem like they know they are going to be trouble together for the league.
