I was kind of looking for Bama opinion Smile
Love how any single person thinks that kind of deal is in any way realistic. Even sounds like they might not be laughing the whole time they are writing it.

My takeaway is that Nico/Kidd already have a system. We need some intel!

Bwah-hah, they get the pick swap? How about no?
Kidd is going to look under the hood and tinker.

I would be like, you keep your hands off my hood and tinker.

I'll be right back. I have to go and learn whatever language that is that's being spoken in that video. By "right back", I mean several years.

Go to the YouTube page of the video and google translate the comments and you will get an idea of what was said.

Right click the page and choose translate to English.
I found where it said "translate to English" and no one is translating to English.
Found this transcription on Reddit of the interview...

''I was told that since I'm being guarded by Kawhi, it would be better for me to stretch the floor and if I saw the opportunity, I could attack the paint. I was out of the pick and rolls, the ball didn't go trough me at all. Just play defense, run to the corner and wait for the opportunity. But I was ready to accept it, if that meant winning, all I wanted was to win. ''

He later states that he understood his job and what he had to do, became fine with it and found a way to give his maximum on the court in that role. Also says that the critique was hard at first because he has a MAX contract and people expect more from him. Says he feels a lot better on the court when he's more lightweight, but that makes him a lot more injury prone, so he's working hard to find that middle road of being light but strong enough to not get injured.

This is smart, of course. The entire point of putting Leonard on KP was so that he could switch onto Luka, so...obviously, not setting picks with KP was the right choice.

Sounds good. Shame he didn´t play any defense.

Yeah, that last part sounds like an admission that his mobility has suffered from the attempt to "bulk up" to avoid injury.  Let's hope he figures it out, because he needs to play defense like he used to without getting seriously hurt to have any chance to be worth near that contract.
