Would Portland give Grant a 160m deal if Lillard is leaving?

Maybe it becomes a S&T.
Who says no to THJ + Bullock + McGee + 2027 unprotected 1st for Grant.

I wouldn’t think so. Just trying to make sense of what MIA is doing.
Interesting, DSJ to BKN. I thought he will stay in Charlotte

My comment regarding a couple of other news. I think Bane was severly overpaid. He is good, but not max good imho. I hate Morris gone for just one SRP. I would really like him as third PG. Much more than Seth, I have a really hard time to see his fit. It is just BaE, so lets see...

Makes sense. They are putting all the pieces in place to be in pole position for the showman.
Luka under the brightest lights in the world with his buddies DSJ and DFS, a center that is not Dwight Powell and the perfect partner in All-Star Mikael Bridges.
So do we like Cam Johnson? I mean it would be a fitting end to this franchise by trading Luka for a Clown(ey).

Hayes and Reddish. The Lakers just get how this works. Every year like clockwork. Former lottery talent for f*** all minimum deals.

Washington paid Kuzma. You gotta pay somebody

That, too. New floor rules helped us with the Bertans dump.

Me! And the Mavs for sure.

Of course. They have an all NBA caliber rookie point guard incoming and some other good pieces already on the roster. If they get the right package from Miami, they could be on the upswing within two years. One thing’s for certain, they’re not shipping him to Dallas for a package of THJ and Mavs spares. They wouldn’t even give a second thought to anything that didn’t involve Hardy, and even he would be a little redundant for them.

Players want to be in LA. Lakers more than the clips. Klutch sports also plays a part. There are certain things that other teams can’t compete against. These same players would ask for much more from the Mavs and even then it might just be for leverage than any real interest in playing here.
Dame has named the Miami Heat as his trade destination.
EuroLeague G Vasilije Micić – one of Europe’s best and most accomplished players – has agreed on a 3-year, $23.5M deal to join the Thunder, Jason Ranne of @Wassbasketball
tells ESPN. A two-time EuroLeague champion and an MVP, Micic brings a significant skillset and IQ to OKC.

Interesting. Looking forward to see how good he is.
Man, the West is tough. Maybe not many elite teams but every team is looking to win right now. Portland may be switching gears and San Antonio may take the long road. But SA will obviously be much better.

Yeah, if I am Grant I say no take backs. I think I understand the modern player game plan....take the money and then worry about getting to a new spot. I am not giving that money back. It will be an interesting conversation if Portland tries to back away before the deal is official.
