Kyrie Irving: we already named a city after him!

I know he smiles here, but something feels off to me. Doe doe looks depressed. Also #28 is not a great number at all for him. Give him #10 dammit. Respect the God King!

It's got to be earth shattering for him.  He lost all he's ever known.  I'm happy Spencer is with him.  If you watched the conference yesterday, you can see how much Spencer was propping him up and big brothering him through the process of being traded.

It probably is.

He was ingrained here. DFS was the Mavs and the Mavs were DFS. That's why I'm hoping he can come back soon. Maybe if the Nets blow it up and KD asks out DoeDoe can be back here as soon as next year.

Just when it was starting to hurt less.  Sad

My 3rd favorite Mav ever and forever.

losing him leaves us thin at wing, hope josh will take a bigger role and make it up. that said, we still need further moves to fix our weaklinks at wing and in paint especially defensively.

What would even be the point?  Another PG/SG for a big?  Both expiring anyway.  Woods would give mavs way more in the playoffs this year.  And they would at least still have a chance of re-signing him if he finishes the season.

Good lord. Praying MacMahon doesn't know what he's talking about.

A reason not to play Green or Hardy. Great idea.

I had these same thoughts. Made me feel good that Spence is there with him. It hurts so bad to think about Dorian, i just ignore that and look at it glass half full.

He’s always been the 2nd most important player on the team ever since Luka entered the league

The non-star players who have long careers in the NBA are from the same mold as DFS. PJ Tucker, Ibaka, Haslem, Iggy, Horford, jeff green, rudy gay, wes matthews……these guys are all still playing because their skill set will always be in such high demand. Dorian has that in him and i wouldn’t be surprised if he returns to Dallas after his deal is up Barea-style. He’s a lifer

Windhorst is such a windbag. I am not saying I know what will happen. But, for him to already be hitting that point is ridiculous. Kyrie was visibly irritated when the media wanted to ask about Durant last night.

Again, not saying it won't happen. I just think it's standard clickbait.
We didn't make the cut but thanks for all the support!

Luka, Irving, CWood. And this trade forces many more minutes to Hardy and Green. Maxi coming back. This will get really really interesting. We are collectively more a fit now as a team! And far more skilled. It will be considered brilliant move. Correct choice keeping Wood on this team. Mavs are better team than a week ago.

Windhorst went to Lebron's high school and he's spent his entire adult life with his face firmly chasing Lebron's (and by association, Kyrie's) taint.

I agree but could be maybe Nico's only real choice.
