GAME 11: DAL (6-5) @ NYK (3-9) | 103-106 loss
Everyone knows who I am. I am TheSportyChannel

I’ve been saying for years Rick Carlisle has been costing us games. Why the heck are you taking out both Luka and Porzingis in the 4th? It’s not just this game he takes out Luka. Does that make any f’ing sense? Please for the love of god explain your dumba$$ reasoning Rick. I am tired of you shuffling the starting lineup and benching players like Justin Jackson after having a good game.

Rick Carlisle is the problem. If anyone defends him, you are not a real Mavs fan. Just a Rick fan.

Knicks bench outplayed the Mavs. Knicks bench scored 52pts, Mavs 29. Everyone talking about how good this bench is, they've been incognito lately.

Its funny, that style of play won the Rockets a lot of regular season games, but took them nowhere in the playoffs. They came close to beating the juggernaut GSW, but thats all they did. And their team was literally built for it.

The Mavs are not built for that kind of system, but Carlisle is forcing it anyways.

50% OF THE LEAGUE WAS AVAILABLE IN FREE AGENCY, 30 MILLION IN CAP AND WE DON'T GET 1 STARTER. EVERYBODY ON THE TEAM NOT NAMED DONCIC OR PORZINGIS IS A BENCH PLAYER. WE HAVE LITERALLY 13 BENCH GUYS AND 2 STARTERS. TRADE 3 OF THOSE GUYS FOR A STARTER PLEASE. EVEN THE KNICKS HAVE MORE STARTER CALIBER PLAYERS ON THEIR TEAM.

He needs veterans already and even the vets have to put their foot down about stuff. Sad thing is who out there is a better replacement now?

Players aren't really the problem asside from maybe missing a bruiser.

The gameplan ist just horrible.

We only have 1 win so far against a team with a winning record. We're 4-3 against teams that are under 500. With the talent we have, that's on the coach. There's no other way to spin it. RC won a title because he had Dirk. Maybe the tanking lost his edge, but for all the good decisions he made in the 2011 championship run, he's made way too many poor decisions since. I don't know if there's a better option out there, but right now the coaching staff isn't doing it's job.

Honestly we need to trade for CP3. He is still a strong perimeter defender. He can run an offense that doesn't rely on 3's and he'll actually match the competitive spirit Luka has.

His contract is disgusting. He'll probably butt heads with Carlisle, but that will force Cuban to make Carlisle either adapt or leave.

I wish we could poach Quinn Snyder from the Jazz.

(take these post game ramblings with a grain of salt. This performance tonight has me seething. 7 games in a row now the Mavs look like they're tanking for another pick)

Bad game, worse but better team tonight took W. Hope mavs learn something from this while there is still time ..
Some mavs are afraid to shoot, did I saw this correct?
Happy for KP and Denis, both back in game.
Coach, do something, change something, or fix something. Just something ... different ...

Over reaction again I see. I am mad but I am mad at the Knicks. I hope they enjoy this because they can only do this with very asinine motivation.
This Reunion Rowdie says the AAC needs "Luka's Lunatics" for the Luka/KP and gang era.

Meh, let'em have that W, it won't change their toxic culture.

But some of you need to step down on all of that choaching hate, jeez. We're a work in progress, the sooner you realize this - the better for your blood pressure.

Outside of Luka and KP, there's no one on this team that should get more than 20+ minutes in the NBA. We've got a lot of role players, some great ones at that, but Carlisle can't make threes or defend the perimeter himself...

They shot 44% and the Mavs shot 22% from three.
Luka is probably the only reason this was close.

Won´t blame the coach when half of the roster makes one rookie mistakes after another, isn´t able to make a layup or jump shot and cannot secure a lose ball or rebound to save their life.
The rotations are questionable but the effort is embarassing. Knicks secured every single important 50/50 ball, jump ball and had crucial offensive rebounds in the 4th.

Dwight Powell had 2 good minutes on offense but outside of that he was the softest/weakest and most infuriating big man I have ever seen.
Delon Wright refuses to shoot the ball. Rather turns it over on a shot clock violation.
THJ happily chucks away without a care in the world as long as he gets his numbers.
Seth Curry is a 3-point specialist that does not want to shoot.
KP is occupied with his own problems. Knicks fans. Injury concerns.

Playing like a bunch of mental midgets. As soon as there is any kind of resistance or things don´t go as planned the team collapses. Defense is nonexistent and the offense turns to Luka hoping that he will bail them out.

The motivation angle doesn’t even make sense though. Of the Knicks players that got minutes tonight, only 5 were on the team last year and only one of the starters.

I think the worst part about this is that The Knicks are going to lose their next game by 30 and Morris is going to go 2/8 from 3.

Also please tell me how Luka only took 3 shot attempts the entire 4th?

Kristaps took one half hearted shot.

Our 2 best players took a combined 4 shots in crunch time. Why does Carlisle not focus on the simplest rule of getting the ball to your best players.

I think one lesson of tonight's game is, it takes NBA bodies to beat a team with actual NBA body players.  The Mavs seem to be out muscled most every game.  They have to get another player or two who can body up with real NBA players.

Now, they are also getting out smarted quite often, but that is a coaching issue.  This team has to be taught some basics that they should have learned long ago.

Plus in 2010/2011 he had Casey for the Defense and Stotts for the offense.

Maybe it's not even Carlisle but his assistant coaches.

I disgust cp3 but he might be the *ashole* this team needs.
