Poll: With the current injuries, defensive struggles, and rumors swirling what would you do with KP?

Hold on to him! --- This will pass and he will be an elite player once he can get in game shape and put these unlucky injuries behind him.

Trade him this deadline in March! --- His value is possibly at the highest it will be and the Mavs need to get whatever they can in return for him.

Give him the rest of the season, then trade him this summer! --- Let KP get back and play himself back into shape/health and increase his trade value, but then move him this summer because clearly he is not the right fit next to Luka and with RC.

HOLY KRISTAPS: All Things Porzingis | TRADED to WAS

HyperMav, your trolling was too good.

Fuerza never misses a chance to trash Luka to try and elevate Brunson.

@"Fuerza1" where were you during the stretch where JB played like trash?

Fuerza1 is none other than Rick Brunson himself protecting his son.

Admirable.

Anybody else worried about this ankle injury? Looks like he's doubtful for tomorrow night.  Sad

Nah just keeping him ready for the playoffs. His availability is critical to going anywhere in the playoffs. Honestly I think MBT is willing to risk a drop all the way to 10th if that's what it takes to be full-strength for the playoffs (or play-in tournament). That doesn't mean they don't want KP to play, it just means they are going to carefully manage his injuries.

While these questions are legitimate, we have enough evidence to say that the offense is really good whenever Dončić and Poriznigis are on the floor together. This season, the lineups that feature both Dončić and Porzingis score 120.9 points per 100 possessions. That ranks in the top 95th percentile of all NBA lineups, per Cleaning the Glass data.

One thing that should be undebatable:

The Mavs have NOT gotten their money's worth out of KP to this point.

I didn’t read anything about looking into the knee soreness as if it’s an actual injury. I’ll wait to stick a fork in him.

The fact alone that he left the game with knee soreness is enough to further drop his trade value. The fork is already in. You can only restrain yourself from twisting and turning it.

Besides all the injury layers, they should have put a Rasheed clause in the extension. Whenever he needs to leave a game due to pain, he´d be required to get two quick technicals to get ejected instead. Big Grin

A Knicks fan called him Prognosis. Cry

Well, a knee injury with him is always concerning. We need him to be healthy for this playoffs and then make the final evaluation. Alas, I fear his body will interfere, again.

Because they have no reason to be jealous or negative about him at all...

He might be cooking, but he is not done at all.

Yes, a knee INJURY is cause for concern. This has not been deemed a knee injury though.

Jealous? They have a superior player in Randle, the same record as the Mavs, all our picks and $70M in capspace. Huh

I just thought it was the most clever nickname I read.
