DAL OFFSEASON: Trade & FA | Mavs "mostly done...but you never know."
All I know is that now, after they went defense with this trade and the draft picks they can go get a shooter/scorer without worrying too much about his defense(a concern I had with Bogdon/Lavine/Buddy, ect...).

Really want Buddy Love now.

That has to change what they want back for Bogdan

Wasn't the point of sending out Bogdan tho was that you weren't going to be able to afford to pay him and Fox? At least if you keep Buddy. Oh and if Bagley ever turns out to be any good... You'll have to extend him too.

Windhorst on ESPN just said Bogdan wants to play for the Bucks... Is this just a ploy?

I'd say he wants to get paid. Won't he be limited by the Bucks cap situation?

New style NBA you can’t have too many of those multi-positional guys. Derrick Jones Jr for the MLE makes sense If Wright could be flipped for a big

The point I was trying to make is that the Kings have Haliburton now so maybe they would no longer want Brunson in a trade.

The Bucks may not be an option anymore. I can't find the original tweet (may have seen it here somewhere -- it's been a long night). But I saw a rumor that the Bogdanovic deal fell apart because the league was about to cancel the deal and penalize Milwaukee a pick for tampering. Basically, the "Bogi never agreed to it" is just a lame excuse by people trying to cover their ass and avoid further punishment. If true, I seriously doubt the league allows the deal to be resurrected.

Oh wow I assumed they were just delaying the announcement until Friday to avoid tampering.

edit: both Windhorst and Chad Ford still guessing he ends up in Milwaukee once the charade is over

It's tampering for sure but if the Kings are talking in on it too... That's kind of a lame tampering rule. But I get it.

He said tho that he thinks he might come back and resign in a couple of weeks.
Regardless it opens the door. Whatever the bucks were willing to pay Mavs just have to beat it.

I think that would be great, as long as we keep what we got today

I mean is he better than THJ at this point? Don’t want to downgrade. And his injury concerns few. Risk

I'm thinking Kleber honestly. Dan said it early that a trade with Bos would have them wanting Kleber and I agree. Maybe the 25 protected first too?

Disagree IGT...

How much salary could Dallas take back for Wright, Jackson, and a S&T of Courtney Lee? (close to John Wall proportions).
Dallas should be looking to move heaven and Earth (goodbye 2025 1st) to make a package around those 3. Which player drafted tonight (or Brunson) goes in that package, I am not sure.

Not lame. Creates an advantage for the Bucks over the rest of the league and incompetence by the Kings.
