Now something like this might put a huge asterix to a season. Several dozens players is a lot.

Ah that solely depends on who wins the title. 1999 Spurs has an asterisk. 2012 Heat does not. I wonder why. Oh right. Tim Duncan is a badass, who doesn´t need handouts, unlike a certain perennial finals loser desperate for his first title. Big Grin

What happens if players get sick after they restart the season?

If someone gets sick he will be quarantined until healthy.

What if it's Giannis in the finals?...... Mavs championship!

No but seriously. Would they going to delay the finals until the sick player is recovered or just go on without them.

The plan is to continue without the sick players - they don't delay finals if a star gets injured neither. Of course loss of any star at any point would be devastating.

I could easily see Kawhi being hesitant to return.  The guy is really particular about his health.

No player is going to admit it, but I also suspect at least a few are freaking out about far less noble downsides to being isolated in a bubble. Imagine the moment the team doc realizes your illness is really withdrawal symptoms.

I foresee a disaster the way this year is going

Can teams sign 2020 FA's to be in this case?  If so, I would like to see the Mavs pick-up Vince Carter.  Even better, how about a Dirk return?

Crazy to think that two years ago Boogie was averaging 25/13/5/2/2. Now he can´t even find a minimum deal.

Yeah seeing that makes me think of Durant. I don't get why everyone assumes he'll come back as a lesser but still great player.
Very possible he'll take a huge step back.
