LeCommissioner now? Where does that ego end? And when does someone spank him and tell him no?

Actually makes me hope we get the 8 seed and we play them in empty arenas during the playoffs. LeQuif-less Lakers.
So Qing James is so spoiled he won't even play in games he is payed to play in if there are no fans even if the reason the fans wouldn't be there would be the fault of his favorite country?

In my opinion, if the virus situation gets worse to the point of games being played without fans (a lot of European countries are already cancelling public events), it would make more sense to just stop competition for a month or so and continue later.
They cannot stop the season, fans or no fans, unless the outbreak hits some teams. Too much of a logistical nightmare. Plus players would want to get paid and owners would not want to do so due to losses they incur.

They just cancelled all Serie A soccer games in italy until further notice. So far no player tested positive. Games were already played in an empty arena. Same situation for players, fans and owners.

Correction: The ministry wants to do it. Player association wants it. But the early game today started after an initial delay.

The whole of Northern Italy is under a lockdown. We are not in that situation...yet.

Plus I don’t know what the stadiums are used for. Here most NBA arenas are multipurpose.  It would be a logistical nightmare to just restart the season a couple of months down the road.
It would make more sense to cancel the season if it came to that.
I am surprised at this. If any sport can be played without fans it is Tennis. Plus even the players are far apart and have a much less chance of spreading anything via droplets. Other sports have to take notice now.

Not really.

You still have the ball kids to worry about, unless they make some new rules.
Good question.  I know OKC reimbursed fans in 2012 strike year.
