Hopefully, Gafford will play tonight.

Either way, I will be pretty upset if we don't get a healthy dose of Russell and Williams.

Can we talk about the Exum thing???

I am the biggest O-Max fan left here (I currently own almost an entire island with no signs of life, no infrastructure and no interest on the market - I'm going to lose my shirt on that deal) but I was fine with releasing him for Exum. We are now about to see them play a game where O-Max might've actually gotten a chance to play. Did they know Exum was going to start the season hurt, or is this something that happened after he signed?

Yeah, it's really weird. My guess is that it's something after he signed but who knows.

The injury thing is concerning (again) from a team perspective. There's Exum's unknown issue, Gafford's 3 week sprain that's now running give weeks, Lively's bruise that became a sprain, and AD's known calf issue that he played on and made worse.

After last year none of this inspires confidence.

I think the worst part is how little transparency we get about it all, relative to what we're used to from the Mavs of old.

It's not a great situation.

I got the distinct impression from Kidd in some pre-season game I think, that he had no idea tha Exum was going to report injured... and the shortness of his comment made me think he was none too happy.

It's going to be a very high mountain to climb once Exum becomes available, especially if BWill and others are playing well.

If that's the case, then I agree, and Kidd has good reason to be upset.

I was against it. It was stupid and pointless and isn’t going to work out for the Mavs. But what else is new since Dennis Lindsey left the organization and Nico the GM terrorist gained unchecked control.

This game is televised on Peacock and Telemundo. Peacock is one of the few streaming-thingies that I refuse to pay for. So, I'll be watching Telemundo and brushing up on my espanol.

No KFAA?

What about just plain old NBC?

It will be good to get a look at him. I just hope they're not rushing him back because the other guys are out.

The media is written along the bottom in the first post. Not on MavTV.

Yeah, but it lists Mavs.com as an option. Not sure what to make of that. Do they mean like summer league broadcasts?

Daniel Gafford and D’Angelo Russell are available, Jason Kidd says. 15-18 minutes for Gafford.
