Did they know Exum was going to start the season hurt, or is this something that happened after he signed?

The injury thing is concerning (again) from a team perspective. There's Exum's unknown issue, Gafford's 3 week sprain that's now running give weeks, Lively's bruise that became a sprain, and AD's known calf issue that he played on and made worse. 

 After last year none of this inspires confidence.

It's going to be a very high mountain to climb once Exum becomes available, especially if BWill and others are playing well.
