Here is a list of players on multiyear deals that could be useful but are not working for their current environment (translation: should be cheap or even come with an asset attached):
- Thaddeus Young
- Porter (I am not giving up THJ for him. At this point Chicago should be paying to get rid of his contract)
- Myles Turner (will probably not be traded before summer)
- Dieng (I am not taking him without assets attached. He is not bad, but ridicoulusly overpaid)
- Dedmon (similar to Dieng I would expect an asset attached to take his contract)
Dieng and Dedmon are totally viable options for me, if the price is Lee and if they attach something. It would take good players and assets to get Turner. Porter is to risky to pay players that work great for us. Young is a veteran fighter that we could use, but I am not really enthusiastic to pay assets for him.

Dieng is better than Dedmon and paid less. I would want a much bigger asset attached (like Bog, or the Kings' first with virtually no protections) to take Dedmon.

List of players teams would want to get rid off (either because they are so bad or just because they want out of tax) and fit within our TPE:
- Felicio
- Roberson
- Hood
Not counting minimum salary guys. Not a long list

Dieng is paid more. Dedmon third year is not guaranteed

The 39-6 Milwaukee Bucks have the best record in the NBA, but they would reportedly be willing to deal guard Eric Bledsoe if offered an enticing return package.
"They would do that, definitely," an Eastern Conference executive told NBA insider Gery Woelfel.
Another league player personnel director said, "Sure. Publicly, they (the Bucks) say all the right things about him, but I know that's not the case."
This is not the first time the Bucks have considered trading Bledsoe.
According to Woelfel, they nearly dealt him to the Dallas Mavericks for Dennis Smith Jr. last season. Instead, they signed the University of Kentucky product to a four-year, $70 million contract extension, but Woelfel noted some around the league felt that was to make him a more trade-friendly asset so potential suitors would have multiple years of team control available.

It will take Jackson and probably Brunson, maybe the GSW pick. They might have to absorb Felicio for Lee or the TE. I just think Markkanen really fits what the Mavs want to do with Porzingis at five and it's clear the kid is a bad fit in Chicago and he will thrive in Dallas.
Lauri would be crazy. I'm still not sure his fit with KP or Maxi, but granted I haven't watched that many games of him. But he's a lethal shooter with size.
But now with Powell out, Mavs probably need to focus more on a rim runner rather than another stretch big. Can Lauri play that roll? I'm not so sure.

Well he certainly fits the description of a big who can score 15ppg.
If the Bulls are dumb enough to give up on him so quickly, I'd take Markkanen in a heartbeat. I think he'd be terrific in this system.

Not sure I trust any offensive highlights against our Mavs. Hate to say that.

Why would Bulls trade a clearly better player for JJ and Brunson that dont play or produce much? It is a step in the wrong direction. Markkanen is pretty good from what I have seen from him.
Why do they want to trade him anyway? Makes no sense to me.

They allegedly see him as busting this year. If they see JJ and Brunson as a step back, that helps them tank.

He had a 19-9 second season, he has shown he has all star capability. If we get him, he would be significant upgrade over Powell. He is very skilled. Very opposite KP in that sense, in not being athletic but rather super skilled, which would actually complement KP. KP i super athletic but raw at times. Lauri is more like Luka in that sense although not as skilled as Luka. If Bulls cant see that, something is really wrong there. I can definitely see Luka and Lauri forming a special connection with their skillset.
Luka - THJ - Covington - Markkanen - KP
Wright - Curry - DFS - Maxi - Boban
is there any way we get this team assembled. This could bring a championship this season already. Brunson, JJ being shopped and picks. But not sure we can pull that of, perhaps not even for one of those two additions listed here.

Lets get him!
I'd love to see a mid range 2. I have not seen a mid range jumper for a very long time. A post up mid range shot. The entire season i'm watching Powell rim run, Luka getting to basket, and everyone constantly taking long 3s like if it was a 3 point shooting contest. It can get too predictable.
Let's make a mid range 2. It will shock defenses and they would never recover.
