Defensively I think Holmes is a much better fit than KP and maybe even Turner. Holmes has a fairly high block percentage, the bulk to guard the big boys (which KP doesn’t) and more ability to defend the perimeter than Turner. I’m not overly worried about the O. Sabonis is a good passer and Holmes moves well without the ball, is good in the PNR and has a fantastic floater game.

Sacramento would need to add a non-Indy player like Mo Harkless (Duffy) or T. Davis. Sac has two small TPE’s that would hold S. Brown and M. Brown. So, easy 3 for 3 deal. Harkless is playing tonight. Holmes, Davis and Bagley are not (Davis with wrist surgery and is out for 3 months).

I know people like Barnes + Holmes most, because it´s the most immediate player value, but I´d rather have Holmes + Bagley and their 2022 1st round pick.
I think they are delusional enough to genuinely believe they have some big run in them. At 2.5 games behind the Pelicans, I´m not convinced, they´d make the play-in, even adding Sabonis and Porzingis. Just give me the Kings pick top 2 protected, watch them finished 10th, move up to #3 and we take Jaden Ivey.
