Why make a statement like that? I know Embiid probably doesn't care and the bridge has been burnt 5x over at this point but that's just throwing more gasoline on the fire for no reason lol

Embiid has always been an asshole.

Once the report came out that Simmons wants to go to a team that is or will be built around him, that's when I was out on him, I think the team and Simmons himself would be out on here too. This team will be built around Luka, there is room for it to be built around Luka and "another guy", but that quote doesn't sound like that's what he wants.

Oh, for sure. Yeah, Simmons' team is talking like they want him to be the ball-handler somewhere - anywhere. He's not a fit here if that's his primary goal.

I haven't paid enough attention to Jimmy. I like that guy.

Author must be a secret Mavs fan for thinking they can get off of Burkes money for a cheaper deal AND net a 2nd round pick in the process. I know the Pels are desperate for any point guard, but I don't think they're THAT desperate.

Though I will say, if any team were to do such a short sighted deal like that, the Pels would be pretty high on the list.

I checked a bit more and saw author is not exactly "mister current affairs". Iwundu is no longer with Pels as he was traded to Charlotte. If anyone, perhaps Temple could be a target, but Pels already have 15 guaranteed contracts so a 2 for 1 might be difficult.

He trades Burke to the Hornets, so he seems up to date Wink

Wow, my bad, SleepingHero caught me sleeping Smile  Burke might be more useful than Iwundu, but I still don't see it.

No idea where we are posting Dragic updates but he is currently playing for the Raptors in their first preseason game.

I think that would be a fair win now return for Philly, especially if LeVert can ever get healthy. Not so sure about Indy though

Problem for Philly is both those players history suggest very high lost time to injury risks.

My prediction is Indy would win that trade in a big way because Ben Simmons for all his warts is a young 3 years straight NBA Allstar who was the starting PG for a team that was better than Indy and won the division.

If the Indy guy's health hold up, ok, maybe but I'd hold out for a healthier deal if I'm the Sixers.
