Powell/WCS/Brunson for Dragic
Kleber for Markkanen (now that Lonzo will be a S&T the Bulls will look to get a player back for Markkanen in a S&T).
Nance Jr. for the TPE, Burke for a non-guaranteed Cavs player
Oubre for the MLE

It has to be this good now. Then I can swallow that THJ deal.

Doncic/Dragic/Terry
THJ/Green/Hinton
DFS/Oubre/X
Markkanen/Nance Jr./Vet Min PF/C
Porzingis/Brown/Boban

Okay that would be pretty good, but boy oh boy, that will take some doing.

Rather have Maxi than Lauri (especially next to KP) and I can think of a lot of guys I would rather spend MLE on than Oubre.

BAE means we are going over the cap - right?

Both Brown and Bullock are solid 3-D guys

Last season:  41% from 3PT on 6 Attempts.  Nearly a 91% free throw shooter, less than 1 attempt.

I mean they could still go under the cap, but it doesn't really makes sense. I think Mavs are operating over the cap

Holmes has to be in play now as the Kings just used their MLE

They don't need MLE for him, they have early bird rights

Brown for BAE, let’s sign and trade for Bullock. Maybe Burke and Terry to NYK

It is more likely that his number is needed to trade match Dragic.

If you assume we find a taker for Willie and Toronto will take Powell (my long held assumption as that was the only way to do Lowry and THJ when we were in the running for Lowry), then what is left to decide is whether $14mm and the rMLE is better or worse than TPE and Full MLE.  Seems to me those are the roster building opportunities if you assume a trade matched deal for Dragic.

BAE for Brown should mean the 14M cap space is unaffected.

We can only use BaE if operating over the cap

What asset are we sending to Toronto to make all this jive is the big question then.

Who in the f***** world would have given Sterling Brown more than the minimum? He signed a one year minimum deal with the Rockets last year.

No wonder that agent is putting dick pics all over Twitter right now.

Also if this is for the BaE, doesn´t that trigger the hard cap at $138M for this season and also means we can´t use capspace anymore?

Nope... you have to renounce the BAE to generate the cap space...

Now you could agree to a contract equal to the BAE and then fit it in the space if that is the direction...
