Josh Green is a top 5 Mavs player...

I don't see Mavs doing Turner bc he's a 5 and Mavs want KP as the 5.

[MacMahon] On Gordon Hayward's Free Agency: “I think it’s going to be NY. There’s already a lot of smoke out there with that”...

I don't think so. Boston needs a center badly, and they've unloaded some of the ones they do have.

I'm essentially ready for one to three underwhelming but fairly solid moves.

I do hope one of those is to re-up WCS on a 1 + 1.  Wink

Do you think there will be an avalanche of deals at the opening of FA like last year?

If Hayward does end up in NY and not to Indiana for Turner, I could see WCS getting a decent offer from Boston. Come to think of it, he could get one from Boston regardless.

I would be fine with WCS but I get the vibe that he wasn't a match with the Mavs. I would rather have Baynes as another big in the rotation. If Mavs can't get a big name I hope they could get a TE or two by dumping Wright and/or Jackson for air.

Wood is a better player though and might be undervalued in the marketplace.

The Kings roster is really not a good fit for our trade assets. We might need a three-way.

Nobody mentioned this yet, but Bogdanovic, Bjelica and Boban play for the Serbian national team together. The Kings have too many PFs as it is with Bagley, Bjelica and Parker.

Maybe

Bogdanovic/Bjelica to Dallas
Horford to Sacramento
THJ+Wright+pick to OKC

Not a cap expert, but I don't think players can be combined that way in a sign and trade situation.

Yeah I´m not sure either, also not sure whether

THJ is close enough to Horford in salary to make it a three player transaction.

Bogdanovic for THJ to Kings
THJ for Horford to OKC

Then do a separate deal for Bjelica.

is Ibaka a guy we could get, and would want?

He seems like a fit, but he’s 31 y/o. Not too old but he will start his downslope in the next year, two or three.

#Bring back tampering

Imagine if the NBA also told teams they should wait a few hours before they can announce the signing of new players.

Only own player extensions in the first 3-4 hours.

I think he's going to the Nets.  I'm not super interested in him unless it's very inexpensive.

I like the idea of free agency beginning and then a 12-24 hour period that disallows announcements. This would give teams time to pitch ideas to change the payers/teams/agents minds.
