Well there was that one time…

Ouch.  He's been so good in the playoffs too.

Legs are gone. That's what happens when we have no playable backup wings.

I'd love to see some distance covered charts for Dorian and Reggie in these games versus the previous two series.
THJ may not be great but this is finally as far as this team could go without having another scorer. Warriors have 4 scorers...the Mavs just have 3 and Dinwiddie has only been here for three months.
THJ would have probably helped if he was making shots.  But without a legitimate center/rim protector this series is unwinnable.
Now they gotta hope they don't get swept. That's a real possibility.
It's been a fun season, the best since 2011 and it's not even close. Nothing to be ashamed of although I really hope we avoid the sweep.

The Mavs are not that far away from a championship as many predicted. Switch Powell with Looney in this series then the Mavs are up 2-1 at the very least, and the likely favorite.

Now, would a simple change at center fix everything and guarantee next season more successful? Every season is different, new match-ups await.

It is clear the Mavs also need a more consistent 3rd scorer and upgrades to Ntilikina/Green. Luka becoming deadlier off-ball, and getting in better shape can take this team to another level.

All these things are in the realm of possibility this offseason; the future is looking bright.

Mavs will win in game 7. We play the Finals this season. Season is not over, until is over.

I appreciate your optimism.

No matter what happens, this season was a massive success through and through.
