It's a little jarring seeing that stat-line and recognizing that I've become a little desensitized after Luka has put up SO many incredible performances these last 3 years.

I thought this was interesting on ESPN
Luka Doncic: One flaw at the free throw line I, like you, would love to see him improve as a free throw shooter; however, the group they compare him at shoots 85% vs his 73% last year. At 7.1 attempts per game that means he would go from 5.2 makes per game to 6.0 makes per game, improving his scoring average by 0.8 pts per game. Would this really change the way teams guard him? I don’t recall any hack-a-Luka last year. Would it really change the outcome of many games? I don’t have the numbers in front of me, but how many games were decided by 0.8pts or less? This just seems like ESPN really reaching to find something for him

He seems bothered when he misses free throws. It can impact his game. He is great even when under impact. But when he is in a flow, he destroys opponents. Just that one extra free throw made, or two, would be less of distraction for Luka, and improve his domination in other areas IMO. It would have larger effect, then that of the points these free throws create. On top of that, it also impacts opponents. If they start seeing Luka make the free throws, they would give up in the half time. Mental impact, both on Luka himself, and the opponents. Probably on the fans as well. Agree with the article that its not as big deal in the games, although there has been few games for sure where it mattered on the outcome, perhaps. But you can say that about everything and everyone.

Lebron is close because he's more of a point guard though he traditionally plays with point guards. Taytum and Durant are the best SF's to me. PG, Ingram, and MPJr should count as well. Seems like they struggled to find 10 guys to fill out the list.
