I don't get this statement while taking me to task on mine...

Sure I specifically said rebounds, but it was more than just that (I also said A/TO ratio). He had more assists in this game than the LaL game while playing 8 minutes less as well. This game, he led his guys to be fully confident and focused. They probably didn't need that given the first 2 games, but when he's doing it, I'm sure they got the idea that they better as well.

I give it to Carlisle for getting up in their arses, but also making some changes to the rotation and plays.

Things that changed, besides more effort all-around...

Burke got more run with first unit.
THJ got more run with the 2nd unit.
WCS got more run period.
Luka stopped with the lazy threes. He´s virtually unstoppable from two. Was already last year.
Luka stopped with the complaining.

Most importantly the Mavs subtly changed Luka´s passing patterns to be less predictable. All the teams have started to play the diagonal corner passing lanes. So last night, he threw them back to the top a lot more, which resulted in a lot of open looks. It´s not like Luka can´t make any pass he wants.

Still got to wait and see how he reacts in close games or when the Mavs are behind.  Easy to be happy when you are up 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 points in a half.  :p
