He was getting a lot of hype in a big market. High volume on below average efficiency. But at least he was a better defender. This years regular season version of KP is the most efficient he has ever been on offense. Why? Because they reduced the midrange and post up volume.

Fun part. When both played in NY KP was scoring 20-22ppg. THJ 17ppg. 19ppg in the season without KP. Similar efficiency.
