In the OKC Philly deal OKC paid basically only expirings (Green, Ferguson), where Green is arguably the best player in the trade and Ferguson is sort of a young talent on a prove it contract.
BBall-Ref shows Horford with $69M left guaranteed while Powell has $33M. Unless they have the reporting wrong, that's more than double the amount left.
Powell might have a chance to get better, while Horford has the very real probability of getting worse.
