I think there are three reasons. Horford is the best player in this proposal, his contract is now half a season shorter and Powell has almost as much left on his contract as Horford does.
In the OKC Philly deal OKC paid basically only expirings (Green, Ferguson), where Green is arguably the best player in the trade and Ferguson is sort of a young talent on a prove it contract.
