Good article. I still don't buy this PNR explanation. The conventional wisdom right now is that defenders will switch leading to a KP post-up that slows down the offense. It doesn't make any sense to me. How come defenders don't switch on virtually every big, particularly the ones with no offense outside of the paint? By that logic defenders should switch on Powell screens or DAJ when he was here. They aren't capable of exploiting a smaller player 20 feet from the basket either. At any rate I digress.
I like this KP 2.0. I think this is the new KP, the old KP is dead. This version is going to get more efficient over time as he gets more comfortable and gets his shot going. His form has looked great all year, the shots just aren't going in but they are going in more now than they were earlier. I think by the end of the season his efficiency is going to go way up because that's what uncle Ricky does. He maximizes the effectiveness of all of his guys.
