I would be happy if he was top overall but the politics of beating LeBron would sour the moment imo.  I think/hope he will be captain soon.  Maybe Slovenia will come through in the clutch.

The NBA is not gonna let anyone beat LeChina no matter how many votes ahead Luka is.  

Also, the “draft” is being televised this year and NBA is missing out not letting Luka win captaincy.  I recall the voting system “dropped” Luka for a day or more.  How convenient.  They want LeChina to pick players so that China will tune in to the pick show.

Well if Luka can't be a captain, then I hope Giannis picks him first.  I know Luka would probably prefer to be with LeBron but hanging with Mr. Freak might work out better for future plans

Actually I don’t mind Luka not being a captain this year. I’d love to see Luka paired with Giannis. If things go south in the playoffs for Milwaukee this year, getting a taste of what it would be like to play with Luka may give Giannis something to think about.

The NBA should get the two most voted (Luka and LBJ) and make them captains. Since there is no more West x East I don't think the captains should be from different conferences.

The NBA would not have let Luka be captain over LBJ.

This is so that the passing of the torch can be when LeBron picks Luka as his first choice and thus the next generation LeBron is born.

I'm not a conspiracy theory guy, but I find it odd that voting for Luka wasn't a option for a full day as discovered by someone on here. That 1 day could have made the difference depending on how close the final vote is.
