Game 14: Sacramento Kings(8-4) vs. Dallas Mavericks (9-5) | 113-129 loss

Mavs got to be better on the drop off pass. Grant and THJ late consistently tonight after Lively rotates. So many easy buckets for Sabonis.

Hardy just needs to let the game come to him more. Looks like he is trying to get 20 point quarters the first time he catches the ball. Just needs to learn when to attack. It is what makes him good but also what puts him in trouble…if that makes sense.

Kings getting literally everything they want and more. Mavs have tired legs and you can see it.

He plays like he’s Allen Iverson.

Defense is awful again. Give the kings offense credit. They are a well oiled machine. But they are getting anything they want. Mavs scoring at the other end of the floor but won’t be able to stay close if the defense doesn’t get better.

Green and Powell inserted for energy. Sabonis is going to eat Powell alive inside. Not a good matchup for Dwight.

Sac had made 9 of last 11 shots. One of the misses led to a sabonis offensive rebound putback.

Mavs cannot get a defensive rebound

Getting manhandled when they do miss.

4 guards with Powell just wont work - it might as well be prime Arvydas Sabonis out there

Its clear Mavs are still missing some pieces to truly contend.

Zero resistance inside with Powell at center and four guards.

Huge last 30 seconds.

Unfortunately couldn't convert on the last possession there, but I love Luka's choice to attack the rim instead of settle for a stepback 3.

Small ball Powell lineups against Sabonis is just silly. Lively is getting manhandled too. Sabonis is just really good.

Mavs survived that first half. Feel likes things were getting away from them.will need a much better performance on defense in the second half.

The Hardaway, green, Powell front court is not ideal. We really are missing that extra long good wing.

This is absolutely hilarious.

I think the Mavs WERE rebounding well in the 1st. 2nd they got tired and late on the secondary boxout. I think they need to go back to blitzing Fox and playing free safety on the Sabonis extra pass. Make anyone but those 2 attack. If Barnes is hitting wide open 3s so be it. Make Keegan Murray put it on the floor.

Just get the main 2 guys out of a rhythm and keep hounding them on offense. Not sure if the Mavs have the stamina for it.

Seems like Kidd took your advice for the second half.

Mavs perimeter defense as soon as Green went out fell apart. How many wide open 3s? Double whammy that Sabonis is just feasting with Powell in there.

Add in lack of calls from the refs and you give up 10 points in the final 2 minutes.
