GAME 62: LAL (28-32) @ DAL (32-29) | 2:30 CST tip

This lineup is dominating again like in the 4th quarter vs. the Spurs. Lakers shooting ice cold is helping too

Westbrook is killing them. 0-12 from three.

I was way, way against moving Hardaway to the bench because of the lessons we have learned over the past few years about how that works, but I have to say that during these first two games it has looked really good.

Maybe it was mental, and it just took a player of Irving’s status taking his spot to get his head right with it. Either way, I’m pretty into it. If he can play at his top level as a bench player, that second unit is going to be salty AF.

Seems like the early returns on Wood’s new role is that he has a fairly positive attitude about it, too.

Lakers best defense might be giving THJ fastbreak lay-ups and dunks. Big Grin

Ya, if we can get this THJ off the bench, I'm much less inclined to trade him. He does still chuck at times, but off the bench that's kinda what you want. Last game he didn't pass or do anything else which was a bit disheartening, this game he's doing a bit of everything, If he can duplicate that part of his game every time, I'll be fine with his 2-3 bad look shots.

Horrible end to that quarter. Just went off the boil, Luka seemed more interested in his tussle with Schroeder and arguing with the refs.

We don't need his skillset moving forward though, especially as both Green and Hardy get better, I fully expect Hardy to be good enough to fill that spot in the rotation by next season. We would be much better positioned replacing him with a defensive specialist.

Mavs have started sleepwalking. Very sloppy play.

I´m so sick of Powell. Of course his advanced stats are amazing, cause it´s much easier to collect numbers, when the other team literally treats you like you don´t exist and you only attempt lay-ups/dunks. He´ll be our downfall in the play-offs. One defensive rebound in 16 minutes.

Luka just needs to grow up period.  Since he came back in the second quarter he has been completely distracted with the refs.  As a leader, he needs to set the example as other teams making a run.

We went to long with the starting lineup.  Need some energy to match the lakers.

Vanderbilt is everywhere. I see why so many teams wanted him now.

Kidd needed to settle the rotation, but instead is still experimenting.  Ragged game. Leads to another injury. Figure your team out, man!  This is the time for a well oiled machine not a bunch of mix and match.

He was exactly the type of player this team needed at the deadline, and he’s exactly the type of player they need right now.

You add Vanderbilt to this roster without giving anything up and you might be a championship contender.

Powell is like a friend of mine that was a great athlete, never played basketball in his life, but ruined the park game for everybody by running and chasing like a mad person for hours on a Sunday, while all we wanted to do is play some coordinated fun basketball. Powell really has no noticeable actual basketball skill besides trying hard and being annoying.
