But the tax is based on the cap number, whatever it is (with a few minor tweaks).
The full waived salary (less any give-back, if there's a buyout agreement) will ALL hit the cap/tax accounting at some point, and all the S-W does is revise what hits when.
So the DB contract is 16, 17, 5 (guaranteed portion) year by year.
As is, the cap hit (and tax hit) year by year would be...16, 17, 5
