Kyrie Irving: we already named a city after him!

We may be, but I don't expect the Mavs are even remotely considering such a discussion. It's just wasting assets to reconfigure already-traded picks like that.

I just see the option as an arrow in the quiver.  I'm sure the Nets and Mavs discussed the possibility during the negotiations.

Move from 2029 to either 2028 or 2030 gives Mavs the ability to trade 3 picks instead of only two. Of course you only do that if you need the three picks. However, they could already give them the 2028. So this might mean they are not really after the trade three picks in the summer option but going all in at TDL with the 2027

I would wager nothing of the sort even came up.

As far as Markieff Morris? He is a stretch big that can body up the larger bigs in the league. We don’t need to look for another. He’s a 12-15 mpg guy in that role during those games.

He is 6-9. Lost his foot speed and transitioned towards a bigmen role. Not sure if he has anything left in the tank.

I'm wrong a lot but I guess it comes down to who requested the pick be '29.

Kyrie is going to singlehandedly resurrect McGee's Maverick career!

"Am I worried about us co-existing or finding cohesion? No."

Kyrie really does know how to charm a fanbase.

Also "I've played with some of the best of all time...This is gonna be my first time seeing one of those bad Europeans come over and really dominate up close."

He's just answering questions. I don't have a problem with anything he said.

It´s still in an insult to Dirk. He should polish the shoes on the statue for a week.

No he did.

I wasn't trying to be negative. It's hard to convey that positive term in text.

What I was trying to say is Kyrie is charming the fanbase and is saying all the stuff we wanna hear. Not that its a bad thing at all.

How? He never played with Dirk and watched him up close? Much ado about nothing.

Damn. We know it's Luka's team, but I'm surprised by the comment.

That's a very matter of fact statement and clearly establishes the pecking order.

Big balls by Kidd.

Further good to hear that Kyrie also said he's ready to support and fill in in his previous answer as well.
