All the dynamics of how we got here, and whether Wood ever really had potential to be a long-term help, who knows. But Mavs have apparently given up on Wood, and turned the page.

I think they wanted him to be something he wasn't. Whether that "something else" is what he needs to become, to be of real value to a good team, is unknown. What he was willing, that's also unknown. We'll see what happens at his next stop.

Can’t wait for him to drop 35 on Dwight’s head next year.
