If true, it puts another layer on the Cato article outing Donnie.

Don't follow this one at all.  How did Cato "out" Donnie?  Cato was the one who wrote an article about how Donnie got fired because he was reporting sexual misconduct.  

If Cato was anyone's mouth piece, it's definitely Donnie's.
