One thing that I actually love about this board is the fact that there's less activity which I think actually adds more substance.  As opposed to a place like reddit where you start to see sooooooooo many bad takes.  This board disagrees but at least it's nuanced and informed and I also think it's nice that there's so few folks that you understand how certain people lean.

Not necessarily related to everything happening in this thread, just a random thought I had reading this.

Agreed.  I just think allowing a thread to veer off topic is better than squashing discussion.
