THE CRUCIFIX: Cato: Wood isn't thrilled w/ his role...Will depart in the summer

Right now things are not looking rosy.  McGee was a miss and the roster if filled with middling guys at or near 30.   But this offseason could look much more promising if Wood is a hit. 

The off season was such a head scratcher. We start out trading for Wood and giving up our trash. Outside of Boban, none of those guys are in the league. 

We lost a 1st rounder for Wood, but  traded for a 2nd rounder and drafted the guy we very well would have drafted at 26 anyway. So far. So good. 

Then the Brunson fiasco. Although we all know we lost him mid season, we didnt lose him in the off season. 

Then signing McGee to that money was ridiculous. They needed a big man, but so many guys were out there that could have given us 10-15 minutes. Overpaying for Javale was just stupid. 

i'm not sold on Nico at all.
