I agree he is good at not speaking negatively about teammates.  

But his comment seems to be specific and seems to conflict with what arm chair scouts are claiming about his defense or defensive assignments.

Wood seems to be able to give guards some issues in space with his length and mobility.   Ive seen quite a few pass outs because he foiled a guards plan to put him on roller skates.  I see Wood competing against bigs in the paint...but he seems to be getting the worse of it.  Is he trying to draw fouls by playing victim?  I dont know.   I also see him whiff at shots around basket....as if he is a quarter second late often.   Is he competing and contesting and thats a good thing?  Or is he in bad position and/or he is not good defensively and guys are getting buckets on him?  Or...does he need time to learn the system?  If so...how long?

what exactly was Lukas comment regarding Wood? I have missed this part.
