First PHI, then DAL, then BOS, now LAL?!? How many contenders can JR derail?!?

Am i right that Dragic cannot sign with Miami if he is bought out by Toronto.  But can sign with Miami if he is traded than bought out?  Something to consider since he has been living in Miami, has worked out at their facility and has been seen attending games.

CJ to Atlanta is just weird.   In some ways they need another guard.  It appears the ATL fans are down on Bogdan and I am not sure if Huerter is the right fit next to Young in the backcourt.   But is adding a smaller CJ next to a smaller Trae really the best strategy.   I actually like Atlanta's front court with Hunter, Onyeka and Collins going forward.   It feels like Capella could be the odd man out unless they get a package they can't turn down for Collins.

Maybe they think Gallo and others plus a pick or young player is not a lot for CJ.  Maybe it works or maybe they can move him in a year.   It is just going to be a really back defensive backcourt.

If Dragic is traded then bought out then yes he can sign with Miami. I don't think the Mavs care too much what Dragic ends up doing. If he wants to be here to play with Luka then he wants to be here. No use in spending a ton of assets in getting him here.

Shams says Portland and New Orleans are finalizing a trade for CJ for Josh Hart and draft compensation.    I am a big Josh Hart fan but would think draft compensation would be more important for Portland.    Would New Orleans need to add additional salary?  If not, it gets them off the 2 years of CJ.

Its going to be Hart, expiring Santoransky and probably Temple + picks for Mccollum. Wonder if Portland will flip Hart?

Lots of guys we expected to cost at minimum a FRP each have just been packaged together for cheapy deals. McCollum, Nance, RoCo, Powell, heck even LaVert was pretty cheap.

Maybe the Mavs can get a Myles Turner for something lower than expected.

I am affraid that in a sellers market the ration between sellers and buyers gets worse with every trade. Unless Mavs are full time bluffing with Brunson/DFS, I doubt we will see anything significant.

On the other hand, philosophically, wouldn't be a sellers market a perfect opportunity to sell high on some of your assets?

Hard to call it a sellers market when almost every trade so far every guy has gone for the most minute assets. Though that could just be a Portland thing.

Reddish cost a 1st. Lavert cost a 1st. McCollum cost a 1st. I don't see Turner costing more than a 1st at that rate.

Don't understand why the Wolves would do that.

Richardson really does enamor some GM's. Seems cheap for Beasley.

You mean 37% shooting, 10.9 PER, -8.2 On/Off Malik Beasley?

This is trash for trash...and needing to attach Nesmith just get someone else's trash.
